Today, I reached my goal

Four months ago, I woke up feeling like I had lost control of my weight. After retiring from the Military, I gained weight pretty quickly. When I reached 213 LBS, I had had enough, and I vowed to make some changes. I logged onto this site, took it seriously, and started working out by biking.

Today is exactly 117 days since I first logged on, and I'm proud to say that I've hit my goal of losing 40 LBS in 4 months. It was exactly a 2.5 LBS loss per week. I feel great, had to buy new clothes, and not a day passes that someone doesn't say how much better I look.
