I just started myself and I eat some of what I burn on workouts, but not all. Sometimes I stick to the 1200 calories and just let that go even though it says I didn't eat enough when I do the diary :ohwell:0

It is just easiest to not track your exercise at all! You will burn various amounts of calories day to day. Watch the scale and make sure you stay at your goal weight loss pace (1-2lbs a week). No need to over-complicate things! If you can lose weight at 1700 and feel great there - Stay there! If you aren't losing then dropping might be your best bet! Good luck and hope that helps!0

I average 1200 a day. I do some exercise every day. I can't even guess on what I burn because I wasn't able to find any numbers for what I do anywhere, so I decided to play it by ear. Some days, I eat more, some days less.0

Yeah, that's the idea. Some people lower the exercise calories because they don't trust them. I'd see how it works for a while and adjust if you need to. (You are going to be told 1200 net is too low, but that's not the question, and I don't know enough about you to have an opinion. 1700 total seems fine to me absent more.)0
