Am new here and loving my fitmess pal

As of January 3rd, I started to try and lose some weight. I found the my fitness pal app for my iphone and started using it a little over a week ago. Since using it I have lost about 2 pounds. I love the application because it has every food in it I look up. I have it set for me to eat about 1,200 calories a day, but I usually get to eat about 1,800 a day because I burn around 600 or so at the gym. It took me a little to understand the whole calorie counting and burning calories, but I think I got it now and hopefully can stay on track.

    Thanks to this website and the community on it I lost all the weight I wanted to and I've been in maintenance mode now for several months.

  • Im also fairly new to the site & found it via the app on the iphone, i must say it has given the real motivation to kick start my weight loss, only been on here just over a week & cant believe how easy it is to use & like you say most of the foods are in the database & even those that arent can be added relatively easy.
