Went to lunch with a friend that's in town from Rhode Island. Ate lunch at a restaurant named Queens Comfort in Astoria. Needless to say it was pretty awesome.

Chicken and waffle - Fried chicken breast with a sweet and sour glaze. Waffle with syrup and powdered sugar.

Captain Crunch crusted chicken fingers Crunch coated chicken breast with powdered captain crunch. A bacon & caramel dipping sauce.

    None of that looks remotely appealing to me, personally.
    Looks kind of blech.

    Give me some decent pizza or a good roast dinner with lots of vegetables, or a good steak and kidney pie anyday over that, lol.

    Decent pizza in EN, not even once.

    I am not sure how I feel about some of those combinations, but I am glad you enjoyed your lunch :drinker:


    My lunch of the week was some Mexican flavoured burgers that Jamie Oliver has bought out in a supermarket here (Australia)

    It reminds me that I need to start experimenting with seasoning in my home made burgers again.

    I made a home made pizza(s) on a sourdough crust, and a peach pie and cinnamon rolls and some friends came over and helped me eat it. Yep, I blew my calories for the day, but boy was it tasty!
