ERHMERGERD ENDLESS SHRIMP

So, like many Americans and almost every single person who wasn't born in America, I LOVE seafood. Well, since I started back into the realm of MFP/dieting/fitness what becomes of my beloved Endless Shrimp from Red Lobster? I would like to say "Yeah, eat in moderation, it'll be fine!" But THIS IS ENDLESS SHRIMP!

I think it's time for a cheat day.

Went last night! Ate and ate... Did my best at logging, (It's so hard to log restaurant food!) but I figured I had around 1300 calories. I made it fit, my week anyway. I ate a little lighter for the day as well and was only over by about 80 cals for the day. Not bad for ENDLESS SHRIMP. I figure even if I am low balling it a bit... I almost always try to save a few extra calories for the weekend as rule. So I had/have a little wiggle room anyway so it works itself out in the long run. I just had my weekend meal early! It was delicious and worth every bite!

Also, the grilled shrimp is not always listed but it's included in the Endless Shrimp.

    Grilled shrimp is good!
  • First of all... Red Lobster's "seafood" isn't seafood.

Second, at least it's not Olive Garden's endless pasta!!

Probably farmed, lol. But yeah, after eating fresh shrimp when I was growing up, shrimp is just nasty here.

Hierarchy of shrimp edibility from most to least:

-Fresh South Carolina caught this morning

-Fresh North Carolina shrimp from the fish store and maybe 24 hours from the water

-Fresh off the boat Maine salad shrimp

-Atlantic or Gulf shrimp, flash frozen on the trawler

-Any shrimp entree at the "Dead Lobster"

    -Chinese dried salted shrimp
