Does anyone else notice that their jawbone up does not register their elliptical work out as steps? Not sure if something is wrong with my band or if that is normal since it is a fluid movement different than a "step".

Most fitness trackers have an issue with ellipticals. The Up is no exception.0

There are some online posts that recommend tying the jawbone UP into your shoelaces for a more accurate reading on the elliptical.0

My problem is different. When I ise the elliptical the Up! Registers more steps than I would soon the treadmill in the same amount of time. Therefore giving me a higher calorie burn on the elliptical than on the treadmill which can't be true0

I ran 6.2 miles last night on the elliptical an the jawbone said I added 505 steps. I was very mad that I missed my goal for the day. Someone advised me when running fast or using an elliptical that you should tie the tracker to your shoelaces instead of wearing it on your wrist. I am going to try that tonight.0
