C25K and eating better...no weight loss

So I've started the C25K and have been doing it for almost a month now. I haven't been eating junk food anymore and making healthier choices. I have not lost any weight but I've been told I look slimmer, is this normal or do I need to adjust my diet to be losing actual weight on the scale?

Are you logging your and weighing your food? I was guessing at first but now that I'm properly logging everything the weight loss has continued. Also for a while I didn't lose weight, I lost inches. Clothes were a lot looser.0

You are just doing it for a month - did you gain the weight in a month? Give it some time and let your body adjust. If your clothes fit better and you could keep up with the increase in the scheduled workout, take that as a sign of success :drinker:
. Keep going what you doing and you will see out of the sudden that you dropped 3-5 lbs. If you don't loose anything after 3-4 month then you may need to re-adjust.

Well done, improving your fitness is very helpful in the whole thing.I haven't been eating junk food anymore and making healthier choices. I have not lost any weight but I've been told I look slimmer, is this normal or do I need to adjust my diet to be losing actual weight on the scale?
Weight loss is about having a calorie deficit, so if you're not doing that then you won't lose weight, regardless of how much phys you do.
if you've set this up to give you a deficit, and you're tracking consistently, then you should see success.
It's worth nothing that C25K will only be giving you about 300 calories margin in the early weeks, so if you're not consciously eating at deficit then it's easy to overcompensate.
Equally, for me it very quickly became about running performance and measures other than weight; body fat, clothing fit etc. Equally this is about sustainability, so personally I don't get too worried about weighing and measuring food, but I do run and cycle enough that I'm fairly easily achieving quite a significant deficit anyway0
