Hello everybody!
I started BR three weeks ago, and let me tell you, Ive been eating clean and following the program. Im eating 1200 cls a day, checking on macros and doing eveything by rule. Im 5´4 and have to lose around 27-30 lbs. I want to lose 2 lbs a week. I satrted at 155.
So the first week of BR I lost 4 lbs, I was at 151° I was amazed and felt like Supergirl, But today tuesday, I weighed myself to check on week 2 progress and start week 3 with a new number.. Well scale now marks that I gained 4 pounds so Im back to 155! I find it really disturbing and I dont know what is going on at this point I feel super demotivated, because I havent cheated and well, I want to believe it´s the swollen process that happens when one start to workout, specially when the workout has strenght training involved. So do you guys think this is because of wáter or my muscles are preparing to function bettter?
I used to workout a lot, last year I did p90x and this year I began p90x3 and shred in 30, but in april I had surgery and had to stop. I don know how much muscle I lost but I really like weight training and circuits.
So can seopmeone explain me what is going on? Could it be Im eating very few cals? Im following a 50 / 30 / 20 ratio (p/c/f/) and tracking everything I eat.. I dont know whats going on and I wopuld not like to take measrements because I take them every month so Im 2 weeks ahead of my next measurment tracking.
I hope you can help me so I can discover why I gained all the weight back and what can I do to avoid that happening again this week.

Probably. I personally always gain the first few weeks of a new program. Stick with it and avoid the scale for a couple weeks.0 -
Thank you for answering! I will. I have never belieed the scale reflects how much a workout is working, I would like to avoid it completely, but yeah I will wait a couple of weeks though. No weekly register.0

Yeah, try to avoid the scale for a coue of weeks. I used to be your stats exactly and spent this whole summer changing my exercise and diet and now am maintaining 130-132. Still have 10 to go. But i started doing cardio and interval strength training back in May/June and i gained a few at first. And whenever I start a new diet cycle - the strength training makes me gain weight. After your body gets used to it though the muscle tone makes you look so much better and actually smaller and then the pounds start coming down. And your metabolism increases with more muscle mass too!
Stick with it and don't get discouraged as it really does take time. Good luck!0
