Hi! I'm a college student, and I'm a long time user of MFP, however I started over since I've been slipping since mid-summer and wanted to use my current weight as my beginning weight to just have a fresh slate. But I have a problem! While I'm improving my eating habits, I can't figure out a damn time to go to the gym! I work and I'm a full time student, so most of my time is consumed by sleep, eating, academics and work.

I'm trying to get into Pilates using online videos such as Blogilates/Cassey Ho since I know that a lot of her workouts are good for at home/no equipments, but I really want to use the gym as well. I'm not a morning person, at all. I'll get up an hour before class or work, and then I'll go home after class to do homework and whatnot. The gym is open until, I believe, 11p during the week nights but I've always been 50/50 about working out at nights. I want a consistent schedule and I can't work out during my usual 5-6 time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I'm stuck! What do you guys do? Do you switch up times? Do you keep a stable schedule? I'm aiming for 3-4 times a week.

Thanks in advance!

I change my workout schedule according to what I have going on. At the beginning of the week I check what we have going on--does my daughter have Daisies, does my husband have an evening appointment, what's the weather forecast, etc.--and base my week of workouts around it.

I go to the gym Mon-Fri. I go after work at 730am Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday mornings I go around 530am because I don't work the nights before. I give myself Saturday and Sunday off so I only have to focus on work those 2 days.
