pleace some help

I am a university student that i go to university that I can leave it in the beginning of evening ( around 12 hours in university ).
my main problem that the food i can found in the university is only cafeteria foods which is fast food i cant eat it is there foods that i can made them in home and take it there for lunch ?
if you have advice to face this problem that you see it might help pleas don't hesitate to tell me

    Do you have access to a microwave to heat things up? If so, then just about anything you would normally eat can be taken to school with you. If you don't, then consider salads and other things you normally eat cold.

    I used to teach at a university and often was teaching night classes there until 10 pm. I tried to bring my own food both to avoid the junk in the cafeteria and to save money. I had a microwave and a tiny refrigerator in my office but was often across campus for hours on end and needed to carry food. You'll find lots of folks doing it -- particularly among the graduate students.

    I'm guessing you may be an international student. If so, you might want to find where the more experienced international students hang out and pick their brains. Often they will know all the tricks for carrying food you want to eat with you around campus.

    Lunchbox with ice pack or 2 should solve this.

    I'm not sure what your food needs are - but here's some thoughts. I would take a combination of:

    chunky cut up vegetables and hummus or dip (can save money and cut up veggetables/make hummus/dip OR buy precut and premade)

    sandwiches - meats, cheese, bread of your choice - I'm currently into pitas myself

    yogurt tubs - be sure to pack a spoon!

    salad jars - I build these upside down in a large plastic round container (like a big plastic jar). Put the dressing on the bottom, then meats/cheeses, then sturdy veggies like carrots and celery, then less sturdy veggies like tomatoes and cucumber, then lettuce on top. I pack everything in salad form - no food is considered un-salad worthy to me. Leave about a half inch of space at the top. When ready to eat just shake it up good and dig in. Remember to pack a fork!

    Crackers and cheese - cheese slices or pieces in bowl and crackers in separate bowl.

    Soup, stew or chili in a thermos to keep it hot (don't put with ice pack in lunch box). Don't forget a spoon!

    Ask at the cafeteria for information related to your restrictions - if it's cultural and/or dietary related there is probably an option or 2 to fit your needs - it's good to know there's an emergency plan!

    Are there restaurants nearby that cater to your needs at all? Or have anything that would work? Second emergency plan is good to have also!
