Hello all!
I just started a weight loss program and they keep saying that one of the best ways to lose weight and keep it off is through tracking, so that's what originally brought me here. I'm also looking for advice, support, and encouragement. I've always been heavy and since I'm not getting any younger (36 next month), I figured there was no better time to get serious about my health. I'm working on improving my life in other ways too, because I finally understood (although I "knew" it, intellectually) that I can't just wait for change to happen. I have to make it happen.
I'm looking forward to interacting with people, learning from them, and working toward my goals.

I have also been heavy for as long as I can remember. I have finally realized I also have to focus on loving and accepting myself as I am and what my body is capable of now not just what I dream it will be. Best to you as well!0 -
