hi guys, I have a question... I've been working out 3-4 days a week since new years (totally new for me) and I just weighed in today and have gained weight... I originally lost when I first started but now it's back...should I be concerned? I have been eating at my calorie amount and hardly ever over. Any thoughts!

Muscle weighs more than fat. You have probably gained muscle. Have you taken your measurements to compare to?0

are you also adding in the calories you've burned? could be muscle gained, but I'd think that for over a month you'd have lost more than gained. don't know.0

I would take a look at the quality and percentage of your food intake, because I have no doubt that you have been meeting your calorie goal!
-Try to make most of your food choices unprocessed.
-Try to eat less than the recommended carb goal, eat your exact fat goal, and eat more protein than is alotted. I aim for 30% protein 30% fat and 40% carbs.
Good luck!0 -
Make sure you are drinking your water0

Thanks all, so do you eat the calories you burned? I'm new to this online program and I get confused by it...0

Muscle does not weigh more than fat. A pound of muscle is a pound and a pound of fat is a pound, muscle just happens to be more condensed so your body will change shape and be slimmer.
If you aren't eating your exercise calories your body may be trying to hoard what fat you have because it feels as it you are trying to starve it. When you exercise your body needs fuel, eat the exercise calories.0 -
I used to eat all of the calories I burned, but when I wasn't losing any weight I just stuck with eating the calories recommended BEFORE I entered in my exercise. Then the pound came off!0
