OMG!! I just did Week 4 Day 1 on C25K. I mean, I DID IT!! There are 2 5-minute run sections in my version for week 4 along with 2 3-minute ones and I actually did it without stopping or anything! I have NEVER run for 5 minutes in my life, much less doing it twice in a 20 minute span. Unfrigginbelievable. Sorry to be bragging/shouting, but I freakin' did it!!! I used to weigh 310 pounds and TODAY I RAN LIKE THE WIND!!!! (Ok, more like a staggering, flopping, wrinkle puppy than the wind, but still).
Don't give up on your goals, no matter how out of reach they may seem. THEY ARE ACHIEVABLE. I am living proof of that.

Not so sure these old knees will ever be able to handle that, but never say never! I do have a lofty goal of being able to run to the gym near my house eventually, which is about 3.2K so we'll see.0 -
