Need New Friends!

The 5 people friended here have all not logged in for over a month, some a year. I need support, I am failing miserably here- I am on a strict 1200 calorie high protein diet that is basically 2 core power shakes a day, 2 snacks and one meal. I have been at this a month and have only lost 2 lbs! I exercise 4 days a week and it includes 1 hour twice a week of water aerobics/aqua tabata, bicycling, walking and lifting weights. I am about to just give it all up- being miserable and trying so hard to get nowhere for nothing is getting me down.
I started off at 278 lbs 3 years ago (I was 178 until a car accident almost killed me) and im down to 244. I am 5'10 and have back and knee issues from that accident that keep me from doing some exercises so I am limited physically more than I would like to be.I also suffer with PCOS which makes me present like a diabetic and cannot tolerate many carbs as I am insulin resistant. I also have asthma due to severe allergies. Any ideas?

How tall are you? Unless you are under 5', you may be eating too little and are really stalling our your metabolism. Feel free to add me, I log every day!0

Feel free to add me. I log everyday. As I am travelling from Saturday, so may be every other day.
Also, don't make it strict 1200. Make it rather flexible. It's easier to loose motivation if we stop eating all those delicious stuff.
1200 should be the minimum. If you eat more, exercise more. Eat only 1200, do your normal biking/walking.0 -
Feel free to add me! I agree with the other users- it's possible you're not eating enough. "Strict 1200" is a phrase I give the side-eye to more often than not.0

Every time someone says there on a 1200 calorie diet, someone has to have the urgency to say what their doing is "potentially" wrong.0 -
