I did it and lost 17 pounds. I did not buy any Advocare products afterwards and have now lost 55 pounds. I did it probably four months ago. It really just jumpstarted things for me. I don't think it was necessary but it helped me get started. My rep suggested I go right into another one. Of course I can't afford that, now that I have a better idea of nutrition and I'm doing well I don't feel like I need it.

I tried it, and during the first phase felt great, amzing even, and lost 5 lbs or so. a week into the second phase I felt HORRIBLE. I had no energy, my stomach was so out of whack that I could never figure what to do to help it. I was absolutely miserable. Trying to drink the meal replacement made me throw up every morning ( and that was after being able to get through the fiber drink with no issues). I quit with just over a week left, and threw everything away, even the extra stuff that cost me another $100 or more. My friend who sold it to me, had great results using their products. But for me, just eating a deficit and exercising a few times a week has lead to better, and even quicker, results

I started it on July 7th of this year. To be honest I was skeptical but for me it did what someone else mentioned and got my eating back on track as I had been getting a little lax. I did not purchase any products afterwards but I have continued to stay on track so that alone was worth it for me. I still haven't had alcohol or coffee since I started and completed the challenge. I had no problem with the protein shake. I chose the chocolate flavor and added fruit and almond milk. I was already and still do a protein shake for breakfast every morning, just hadn't been that brand, so that was something I was already used to.
  • Before you do the challenge check out the FB page Advo-truth They have a lot of info on the real story behind Advocare. You know a lot of people get sick during the challenge and it appears Advocare uses a lot of cheap raw materials in making their products and over charge people for them. You'd be better off going to GNC and asking for something similar to the Challenge. At least if you got sick or it didn't work you would be out a ton of money.
