I lasted one day.. I ate all day worked out and was only around like 700 calories, I felt so dizzy and sick. Wasn't worth feeling like that lol... You need more than just Fruits and Veggies for sure.0

I think it's a great idea. You should eat more veggies than fruit such as kale, spinach, celery, etc. I started my raw food diet today. If you're worried about not getting enough protein, include nuts and seeds in your diet. Include gelatinous foods such as aloe vera and chia seeds too. Those will help rid of toxins your body absorbs in your intestines that your liver can't rid of. Good luck!!
You realise this thread is 3 years old, right? Holy resurrection, Batman...
Not to mention that the OP deactivated long ago.
Okay, I realize this is old but wasn't the OP basically suggesting becoming a vegitarian for a month? Why were so many people saying it's bad? Am I missing something?0 -
When most people say they are eating only fruits and vegetables, they don't mean to include stuff like legumes which vegetarians often include to increase their calories and protein. Also vegetarians (not vegans) typically will eat dairy and eggs. I'd also expect "only fruits and vegetables" to not include your grains and starches, like potatoes, sweet potatoes, quinoa, oats, etc.
Vegetarians and vegans will normally (or ideally) put more thought into what a balanced diet that meets their nutrition needs than the OP seemed to.
But it was 3 years ago, so I'm not exactly worried about it.0 -

Ignoring the fact that this is a zombie thread
Please name one of these toxins that the liver can't get rid of but aloe vera and chia seeds do. :flowerforyou:0 -

MFP: Where it's never too late to tell someone whatever they are doing is not nearly as great as what someone else thinks they should be doing.
But the person who bumped the thread says it's a great idea :huh:0 -
you need protein or you'll be hungry a lot!!0

If you want to become a vegetarian, I'd suggest checking out their websites. They'll have advice about how to get the nutrients you need.
If this is just a way to lose weight, have fun.
I like that it is all fruits and veggies except peanut butter, lol. PB is so yummy.0
