Bought a premade salad from Hyvee Friday, forgot about it til today. It's been in the fridge ever since.

Would you eat it?

    Eh, if it smells good still and looks fresh its probably not gone bad... Id say just use common sense. I personally most likely wouldnt eat it *shrug*

    If it looked okay and smelled okay and wasn't past any visible expiration dates, I probably would eat it.

    Do the smell and touch test, if it smells fine and feels crisp, eat away, if it's funky and slimy, trash it.

    For some odd reason I read your post as "ham salad from Hyvee" and I was cringing because a friend of mine worked there and they literally threw ALL of the odds and ends (all types of meat) in with some pink coloring to make ham salad...as I'm sure a lot of supermarkets do, or have done...eww

    A regular salad...sure...I'd eat it, assuming the lettuce or other greens were in good condition.
