Should I keep this dress??

Its been a long time since I bought "dress" clothes....now that I am retired I don't need a lot of dressy things so something's got to really strike me for me to buy it. I found this dress at Marshalls. Its a little snug but when I walked down the hallway in the dressing room, towards the mirror, I loved the way it looked on me. I've put several pounds back on but I am working very hard to take them off again. I just got my head back in the game and hoping to say goodbye to about 6 pounds over the next couple of months. Anyway, once I got the dress back home and tried it on I wasn't sure I should keep it. I think those magic mirrors in the dressing room made me buy it! Here are two shots of me in the dress.................keep or return??? Oh, and please ignore the lack of make-up and the bad hair!

Anyone know how to make the pictures show in the post? I must have done something wrong0 -
I'm not sure what in those pictures make you doubt how you look in that dress. Keep it, it looks great.0

Personally I think you look AMAZING & that dress is totally working for you. If only I'll have your body when I'm retired!
However I also know from experience that if I don't feel awesome in something, I'm never going to wear it.0 -
looks like a great dress and great fit... no question about it, keep it :happy:0

It fits you really well and flatters your figure. If I were you, I would keep it. A little black dress like that is always nice to have around0

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the encouragement. Its just not how I usually dress and it is a little snug. I was afraid it was one of those "looks better in the store" items. I have no clue where or when I will wear it but you've convinced me to keep it (though I can't quite bring myself to cut the tags off just yet....lol...)0

Definitely keep, you look fantastic!0
-
looks amazing on you, Def a keeper! :flowerforyou:0
-
Girl, you are rockin that dress!!0
-
It looks great on your figure for sure, so I say keep it.
Have you by any chance tried to turn up the hem to see if a slightly shorter length strikes you more? I don't know how tall you are, but sometimes on petite women, a shorter hemline looks waaayy better than below the knee. Just a thought.0 -
Keep. A good LBD is a wardrobe staple!0
-
Nope, you should put it in the mail and send it to me!!! :laugh:0
-
It's a keeper and you look fabulous in it!!!0
