Snap! I just opened an account there based on your post and I looked and it seems like it's all kettlebell workouts. Is that true? Becasue if it is, I'm down with that!

Awesome! Thanks everyone. I have started Shred with Weights with Jillian Michaels (although I've read the cons of doing it), but it's got me hooked! Such a great workout.

Yes! And she is RKC certified and has been working with obese people on that site for many years (not that I assume you are, but in case it appeals to others). Sometimes the kb workouts elsewhere are very advanced. Her's start very beginner-ish and get harder. She has many, many workouts in both video and text form and a lot of great content like kb buying tips. I've done 12 week programs of hers before, with good results. I need to get back to it.

I'm so glad someone finally registered and checked it out. I've been recommending that site here forever and I don't think anyone's ever said they used it. :drinker: :flowerforyou:

I've tried Shred It With Weights today as well though I also have read some derogatory reviews. Is there much on You Tube? I mean obviously there would be if I did a search on Kettlebells but which would be worth bookmarking?

I haven't used YouTube but I would look for RKC certified instructors. There are a lot of random instructors out there that have no training in it and no idea what they're doing, and at worst (Jillian) are making up dangerous moves and teaching poor form.

Well, I had decided to make tonight a stay-at-home computer workout night so I'm going to check it out as soon as I get home!!!

    Thanks. :flowerforyou:

Technically I'm obese, but only by American standards. I'm just a little zaftig right now. 50lbs max I need to lose but i'm a big tall gal too. .

I have one of his! Very good but hard and an expensive DVD!

I have some Sarah Lurie ones, too. They're a little dull.
