How much do you lose in a week? I am trying to reach my goal weight by the end of this year but I notice the smaller I get the less I lose on 1200 a day. I was wondering if anyone here has been successful in losing albs a week all the way until the end? Thanks for any advice!

Up your calories to "maintaining" for 2-3 days and in the meantime try doing more cardio. You'll see that pounds will start coming off faster after this little energy boost. You have to fuel your body in order for it to function at its max.0

I'm 5'6 and about 135lbs (about 20% body fat). Currently losing on 1600-1700 cals. I've been losing about half a kilo a week. Exercise 6 times a week with a mixture of strength, lactic and endurance work (mostly involving weights)0

I'm 5'6 and 132lb. The last couple of weeks I've gone up from 1600 to 1800 calories trying to find maintenance and still losing about a half to a full pound a week. Once a week I go over my calories with a big meal. I try to limit Spin to two times a day, yoga once or twice and strength training three times a week.
I really don't want to lose much more any more and want to hit maintenance.0 -
5'6, 135 lbs here, 21.6% body fat and went off 1200 calories almost immediately. I got hungry!
I did a RMR and hydrostatic test recently so I can reset my goals accordingly and found out my RMR was around 1600. I try to eat that daily at a minimum but aim for 1800 and do barre classes about 3x a week. I'm losing about .5 labs a week.
My metabolism is a little on the high side though.0 -
I am 5ft5 and 133lbs, I lose 0.5lb per week on net 1700 cals. 1200 would kill me!0
