I feel better, I run faster, I'm not limited by my size anymore, being active and reaching goals makes me feel better than being a couch potato.0

Taking the weight off for me is simply biomechanics. I am 5'2" and small boned. I weighed 98 lbs when I graduated hs. Fast forward to being pregnant with son. I couldn't gain for the longest time and then I developed a condition that had me retaining a lot of fluids and my body was totally inflamed. I weighed 145 lbs when I went into the hospital. I was in the worst pain imaginable. I could barely walk, suffered from debilitating siatica and every joint ached. When I came out of the hospital 4 days later after my son I was 114. The experience made me acutely aware of the pressure and pain that an overweight body goes through. As a runner you can really tell in your running when your weight is off. And for me that is my primary focus.0

I want to feel like it's easy to dress cute and fun to try on clothes shopping. It'd be nice to have "does this make me look fat?" be a phrase less used.0

I miss the old me
I hate looking in the mirror and not recognizing myself0 -
I think no matter the size of the woman, that phrase will be always used lol0

To look good in a bikini and clothes and feel better about myself.0

I need to look in the mirror and see a new me. The current me, which has been around since I was a kid is just disgusting and holding me back.0

I want to be hot for my husband. We have been together 20 years and have 2 kids. Its nice to be someone he can look at and say "damn you look hot!". Makes things better in a lot of ways! :happy:0

If that's really you in your pic, I'm sure you've accomplished that goal lol0

to look good in clothes i want to wear and also to look good naked. to be more confident in myself as well.0

Look good naked
Be able to get up from the couch, car, etc. w/o having to rock back
Be able to do activities, go up and down stairs, etc. w/o losing my breath after a short period of time
Easier time finding clothes0 -
So I can go on all the rides in an amusement park
Totally agree with you there. I've never even been to an amusement park0 -
i wanted to look and feel like myself again

That's what I'm saying. I love to dress nice, but it's so hard to do so because most retailers don't have anything bigger than a 3x.0 -
Biggest reason for me is because nothing I have in my closet fits me...at all!0
-
To look good and be able to wear pretty clothes0
-
If you're having sex, even though it may not be with hot chicks, still consider yourself lucky. My sex life is horrible. Lucky to get laid at least once a year.0
-
Health reasons? I just wanted to look good naked.0
-
Having pretty girls wanting to play with my man parts0

Having pretty girls wanting to play with my man parts
Agreed.0 -
So I can do more and live my life the way I really want to, not just sit on the side lines and watch others doing what I want to do.0

1. To feel comfortable, and better about myself; 2. Because I model and being in shape is a big deal in that area0
