Dr. visit today...

Options
Well, the Doctor visit went well. Yes I was nervous since I had not been since losing weight. By their records I have lost 98 lbs, my pulse has dropped around 20 bpm, my blood pressure is down some, and my blood sugar has dropped 16 points and is now in the 80's. Also I get to try cutting my blood pressure meds by half and see how it goes. Overall a great visit. To me this is a big success since I can't remember the last time I went and did not get harped on about weight or something.

Congratulations! I need these kinds of successes to make the journey each day easier. At my doctor's visit last week he told me I was a model patient based on my MFP entries and weight loss. Yes, he does look at my diary!!

Well done on the results of your dedication and effort! I love reading posts like this, where the weight lost means not just a better looking body but overcoming poor health and going off medication. Yahoo!

Thanks for all the congrats. It has been a tough road so far, and I'm sure it will continue to be. I had to post this since I have read so many like it that have helped me along the way. Maybe soon I can post up hitting that BIG 100 lost milestone.
