Best site for calculating TDEE

Hey, I am just getting back into working out and tracking what I am eating. I know that to get to my weight and body comp goals I need find my TDEE.

My question is this, what is the best site for getting an accurate calculation of TDEE? There are hundreds of sites and most of them ask height, weight, age and then have an arbitrary activity level - low, moderate, active, super active...etc. While this may work for slip-shot calculation, I am looking to be as close to accurate as I can to get the best results out of my work and nutrition.

Recommendations?

I use IIFYM.com or scoobys workshop, they both allow you to put in your excercise levels, using both there can be a difference of around 100 calories but i just use the number in between them. Works ok for me as im losing every month

    I use IIFYM.com

Me too. I used the Katch-McCardle formula, since I'm overweight, and set my exercise to 3x/week. This formula requires your body fat percentage, and I used the calculate here (http://www.active.com/fitness/calculators/bodyfat) to get that. It's worked well for me.

Remember though that if you're eating based on your TDEE, don't eat back your exercise calories! TDEE already takes your exercising into account.

TDEE is an estimate not an absolute. Work off the estimate and measure your progress after a couple of months. Makes adjustments as needed.
