Logging Cardio X (from P90X)

I'm about to embark on this workout routine tonight and wanted to ask how you would go about logging it? It's a 40 minute workout I believe. There's nothing in the exercise list on MFP so I was just wondering if anybody could offer the nearest solution?

Also, has anyone done this? Is it a good workout? I realise it's only 1 of 12 in the set but I am just giving it a try!

Thanks!

I log P90 under Circuit Training, use a HRM and then adjust minutes on MFP to match calories burned.

Thank you, sadly I don't own a HRM anymore, or I could use that for calories burned. I guess I could enter it as circuit training but be conservative about it too.

    It's a toughie!

if you don't have an HRM. you can log it as circuit training.

Good Luck. I will be starting Insanity in a couple of weeks.

Thanks guys =) Looking forward to trying it!
  • I used this site to calculate it: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc I use 'Weight lifting - vigorous' and just add it in as a new Cardiovascular exercise named after whatever that day's workout is called. I'm probably selling my calories-burned a bit short this way but I'd rather err on that side of things if you know what I mean.
  • http://p90xcalories.com/ This website gives you a break down of each workout and gives you calories burned depending on your intensity level. Its what I use and just add the exercise for each day.
