Hi my name is Marc and I started at 314 now I am down to 276 after two months of dieting. I am unable to exercise due to the fact I have disc degenerative disease which causes severe back pain and pain down my left leg. My goal is too loss 100 pounds in hopes of the pain being tolerable to live with or having disc replacement surgery. I got me a fitbit today and I am determined to loss the weight.

Hi Marc. My mom has DDD and early onset Parkinson's so I'm pretty familiar with your physical limitations. She has had the spinal fusion surgery which has helped a great deal. Great job on your weight loss so far.0

Thank you. I was told that I need a spinal fusion surgery but I think I want to try the disc replacement surgery first and see if that helps. Hopefully losing the weight I will just be able to live with the pain and avoid all surgeries. I am truly sorry to hear about your mom. Best wishes0
