Increase protein while lowering carbs, quick & inexpensive?

So far since getting back into loosing weight and tracking with MFP I can never seem to hit my protein goal and almost always over my carb goal when trying to not to. Looking for some suggestions on quick and inexpensive ways to do this. The reason I'm looking at this is so I can have a easier time keeping track of it while being on the go.     Quick, easy to go protein:

    Boiled eggs, canned tuna, beef jerky, summer sausage, cheese, sardines (I like em, many don't), imitation crab meat.




    As for the carbs, all I can say is to not eat them if you feel like you're over carbing. I'm not much hellp there, because I don't eat them.

    Also cottage cheese is pretty easy, if I'm out somewhere I sometimes just stop and buy a tub and eat it.
