Ladies that struggle with big calves and jeans

Any other ladies have this problem that can't find jeans to fit in the calf area. My calves are 18.75" and have to but buy more baggy jeans to fit and it sucks. Any suggestions that have worked for others ?

mine are only 15 1/2 at the moment but I do find that the legs on jeans seem smaller and smaller and I dont mean skinny jeans either.so yeah I sometimes do have that problem. I cant wear skinny jeans at all either due to my hips and thighs0

I usually buy either the straightleg or bootcut jeans. Skinny jeans don't work for me.0

My calves are 17" right now. Bootcut jeans are the best. I can't wear skinny jeans either.0

I have this problem, especially after losing the weight now being in a smaller size (my calves have stayed the same the whole time at 15.5 and 15 inches). I find either I have to look for something that flares straight out from the knees, something that is completely loose from butt down or I have thankfully found a couple brands that sport much more elastic in their jean for something that hugs all the way down (think jegging just way better quality and still thick material like normal jean). The only problem I have found with those is that after a couple hours of wear they really get loose.0

I have to admit I'm kinda jealous of you ladies (or men?. Mine were around 19", and are down to around 17.5 since I started running. The trick is to find jeans with a little amount of stretch , then grab a belt to keep those suckers up0

My calves are 13" (34cm) and my thighs at the widest are 20" (52cm) which makes me a really awkward shape as my BMI is 20.2 so I'm not exactly huge but i rarely find jeans that can fit my smaller 27" (69cm) (which isn't overly small but small enough in the jeans world) waist. Its so awkward but the more I work my thighs, the bigger they get due to muscle and the less fat I get around my waist making it smaller! Nightmare! And to make things worse, I'm only 5'1 tall.0

I bought a sewing machine, 5 foor 2 inches tall and 18 inch calves are a tough mix.. sometimes i buy Jeans to fit the leg and then take in the waist, and shorten0

I have 17 inch calves and haven't found this to be a problem yet, but I wonder if it will be as I lose weight. Right now, I'm still wearing size 16 jeans so I'm sure that makes them more roomy in the calf. I actually have an issue with them NOT being skinny enough at the ankle & looking baggy & bunched up. I pretty much only wear skinny jeans so if my calves become an issue with them, I'll be so sad!
My solution to this problem would be to wear jegging style skinny jeans. Not the kind that are like jean colored leggings, but the ones that are actual jean material, just REALLY stretchy. My favorite brand of these is from the brand YMI (http://www.ymijeans.com/bottoms/jeans?cat=38). Shopko sells them if you have one of those in your area. I also have like 10 pairs of Old Navy skinny jeans that seem to work fine for me, but they're an older style that I got on super clearance years ago, thus the reason I have so many of them!0 -
losing weight was the only thing that worked for me. And I still have to buy straight-leg jeans.0

yep! i remember back when i rode horses, i had to always buy the men's riding boots because the women's boots weren't equipped for such big ol' calves.
i ike Hue brand jeggings a lot! especially while i'm in the process of losing weight. they're so elastic that they fit for a long time even when i've gone down a size. i literally don't own any normal jeans anymore due to my leg proportions haha0 -
I can only wear bootcut or flares :-)
And no high boots!0 -
Find the right store. I found some great ones in a jeans store, bit more expensive, but they fit perfectly.
And I often wear leggings, jeggings and workout/yoga pants.0 -

Man I have like supersized full grown heffers rather than calves my right one is 19" and my left just to be super awesome is 20.5" a full inch and a half bigger (Lord knows why) mine have always been big though, even before I gained weight, I'm just super lucky I guess. ???? as long as the denim has a bit of stretch in it I generally don't have a problem with jeans though...super skinny jeans are of course not an option but I don't really care for them anyway. Ponte pants are my favourite invention ever though, I live in mine I've got so many pairs, they're a great alternative to jeans.0
