Suddenly 2000cals a day seems like loads?

I only just started eating healthy and checking how many calories I eat per day. I used to eat, I'd say between 2500-3000 calories a day in fizzy drinks, takeaways, crisps, massive meal portions etc.....

Now I've started checking my calories and I'm finding it "fairly" easy to eat within 1300ish calories a day (my current daily goal to help me lose weight) and it doesn't seem right? I feel like I must be doing something wrong to go from 2500-3000 to 1300 and not "suffer" from it? Is it simply better food choices?

I'm starting to feel I won't lose weight as I feel I'm still eating too much....or am I just being silly now?

I just feel like, wow, you could actually eat so much a day when you're allowed 2000calories, just how greedy was I being before?

Anyone else feel like this?

I know what you mean! For me, my worst offense is my snacking- chips are my downfall. But there are so many calories it's crazy! Like 10 chips have over a hundred calories...that's a handful and trust me, I do NOT stop at a handful. So comparing that to say, a whole apple that is around 30 or 40 calories, the amount of healthy food you would have to eat to rack up that many calories is crazy. It's actually a nice trade off. :) And if you're worried you're doing it wrong, as long as you're tracking what you're eating, it'd be difficult to do worse, do you know what I mean? That's what I always tell myself anyway. Even if I eat, say, 2 apples when I was supposed to only have 1, it's still better than the half a bag of chips I would normally eat. So it's all progress! :)
