Me, and I'm open to anyone who logs in regularly and is supportive and seeking others to help motivate and go thru the journey together!
I log in regularly now that I rejoined in July and I have a lot to lose. Right now I have switched to trying to maintain though as having baby in 6 weeks. I eat healthy, drink lots of water, and try to stay semi active. Of course keeping up with my 4 yr old and 16 month old are enough usually with some walking
My goal / plan is to lose at least 80 lbs within the next year and I am determined to make it happen.0 -

OP: When I started here, I had the same sort of thinking, that people who are also needing to lose 100+ lbs. would best understand my struggle/gurney/whatever and be better able help me through it. At this point, most of my FL isn't in that category at all (needing to lose or having lost as much weight as I have). But, I've learned so much from them. And been encouraged by. And entertained by. And had lots of great pictures of to ogle.
I'd really recommend connecting up with people based on personality, rather than on some arbitrary "you must have xxx to lose" criteria.
I didn't say you had to have X amount to lose in order to be my friend. I welcome all shapes, sizes and genders. I just figured that maybe I could relate more to women and wanted to show my BBW pride a little.0 -

Count me in, Lost 42lb in 9 weeks , now just need to lose that again 3 more times or maybe more. I started at 322lb so needing to lose half of my weight just to reach very top end of my healthy weight range. I am going to be around for a while and so far have logged in daily. I imagine it will be a year or more before i reach goal.0

Hey ladies. I am just recommitting to my health after yo yo ing in and out of impossible health plans or those that don't feel right. I just started a really wonderful program that uses hypnosis (so awesome). I'm in L.A. This one feels manageable and moderate. I was always fit till I had some health problems.
They basically took me from a size 6 to a 16 in the matter of a few months. It was pseudo cushings disease. It basically pumps cortisol like nobody's business.
I am loving myself through the changes in my mind, habits, and body. I want to feel like 'myself' again.
I'm kind of enjoying my fitness pal and all of the communities. If you are in the L.A. area hit me up! I'm scared that it won't work, but I kind of know that since I'm making lifestyle changes and not 'going on a diet.' I think it will stick this time.
Feeling very hopeful. I have about 60 lbs to lose in total. I'm starting with 40. Here's to your health!

so what happens when you stop being a BBW, do you quit all your friends because they know longer know the struggle like you do?
what if one of your BBW friends becomes a non-BBW before you do, do you quit her? or does she quit you?

I am 47 and my goal is to lose this over 40 weight. I refuse to let age give me the excuse to being fat. I will be giving and seeking motivation as well. I will be working on keeping my my days meals under 1300 calories. Please feel free to add me to your list of friends.

I am about to turn 50 y.o. and have been BBW for about 12 years. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, so my ability to exercise has plummeted, but I am now more motivated than ever to reduce the burden on my joints. I hope to find and offer support.
