Anyone have a confession to make to MFP?

I have a Coke Zero addiction that I don't log in my diary.

I don't actually measure the amount of fresh cilantro I add to my rice. I log it as a quarter cup.

I don't log small amounts of veggies....like lettuce, slice of tomato, fresh garlic, slice of onion, etc.
Seems like such a waste of time. Dried spices also.
    But everything else. Logged.

Food confession? I would say like 95% of the things I log are guestimates because I don't have a food scale. But I must be a good eye-baller because I've maintained when I wanted to maintain and gained when I wanted to gain.

On a related note: on days where I just eat like crazy and have absolutely no idea how much I consumed, I don't log it at all. It's not so much lack of accountability as it is laziness/eff-it-one-day-isn't-the-end-of-the-world.

I never record my weight unless I've lost!

Also, I have a major addiction to DQ so I avoid it at all costs even though all I want is a Blizzard.

I *was* logging late night snacks as calories for the following day so I didn't go over my day count :blushing:

I like sweets so much I've named pets after them... ie. Sugar (the sugar glider)

    AND

I sneak a sugar cube whenever someone serves me tea (and turns their back to serve others) Lol

    Midnight starts tomorrow, ya know.
  • My only confession is I guestimate food also. I log everything I eat though and if at lunch time I am below half my daily calorie intake, I make it a mission to do some cardio just so I can eat my dinner without thinking too much about it. I am making conscious decisions about the food I eat. What food will help me reach my goal? What food wont? A lot of the time, I simply don't WANT to eat rubbish because I know it wont help me get where I want to be.

I eat something at 2am and then put it down as breakfast for the next day. Which, technically, it is breakfast after midnight - right?

I always put what I am eating to the best of my ability. If I don't. I am just lying to myself.

Back in 2009 I weighed 92kg, which was my heaviest and I'd been there once or twice over the previous couple of years. I intentionally put on 2kg over 3 weeks to get to 94kg, my definite heaviest ever, I started a weight loss blog that day and started losing weight, eventually getting to goal weight 3 years later.

I didn't log my food the day of the State Fair. And I guestimate my tasting plate at 350 calories, some days it's +/-.

And I only "check in" when my measurements go down, too...

I ate a Krispy Kreme cheeseburger this weekend and didn't log it (2 donuts with a burger in the middle). Pretty sure it negated the calories I burned in the mud run.
