On ideal protein

Hi. My name is Linda. This is day one on ideal protein. I'm incredibly grouchy. ...I'm hungry.
Perhaps a nap will solve this.
Has this happened to you??

    Yes. I did IP a few years back and lost 40 lbs. It was tough. The first week was the worst. But after that got really easy. If you pay attention, it will really help you learn about the food you should eat, want to eat and should avoid.

    I've read its possible you may be tired or thirsty when you 'feel' hungry. maybe try drinking a glass of water, taking a nap, and some protein like egg, nuts, beans when you get up...just ideas.

    Hi Linda!

    During the first week, you can add a 4th packet during the day to help with hunger. Also, put a little of your IP salt in some water and drink it. You can also add some extras of your unlimited veggies for a snack - ie. lettuce or cucumber slices w/ a little salt & pepper.
