Omg! The best thing I've tasted in a while now

Crunchy peanut butter on a rich tea biscuit

Mmmmmmmmmmm

Peanut butter due its terrifically high calorie content has been (self imposed) banned by my diet since I started so for the first time in 5 weeks I gave in and crumbled a little

  • Try PB2, only 45 calories per 2 Tbsp, it's fantastic!

What's pb2? Is it available in the UK?

pb2 = powdered peanut butter. The high calorie oils have been removed. Powdered peanut butter is available in the UK under a different brand.

I have seen the PB2 at Publix.

Is it really that good? How does it rate compared to Jif?

I heard it's horrible, but some people here swear it's the best thing ever.

I'm afraid to shell out the $ for a jar and then hate it.

I eat peanut butter almost every day and I'm on 1410 calorie diet. Make the real stuff fit.

I recently bought some PB2. I haven't made it into the actual butter but I did add it to a protein shake and it was wonderful.

Honestly, I'd rather be fat than give up peanut butter. I eat it a couple of times a week. In fact, I'm having baby carrots dipped in peanut butter for lunch as I type this.

I've tried PB2 and now the only thing I use it in is smoothies.....it's good in smoothies, but it's nothing like the real thing! And I love peanut butter. So I eat the real thing only now :)

OMG that sounds delish!!! I'm one the 1200 calorie plan, but I too make room for peanut butter. My favorite is the fresh ground stuff from Whole Foods. One tablespoon and lite wheat bread adds up to 140 calories. Not terrible and oh so satisfying. Also with a sliced honey crisp apple-yummy.

Opinion: PB2 is really good to use in mixes that use peanut butter. Like smoothies, cookies, cooking etc. Even on a PB&J sandwich I think it's good. But I personally don't think it is good enough to eat plain on a spoon. It needs something to hide that it is not quite as oily as the yummy stuff from the jar :)
