weight lifting girls who are serious ♡

Looking for a great support system of girls (or guys lol) that are into weight lifting. I work out from home and I do the elliptical plus dumbell/ body weight routines. Sometimes I just need someone to kick my butt into gear. If you'd like a supportive friend feel free to add me !! Thanks for reading

I started with Chalene Extreme from Beach Body and it was great starting place for me teaching about form & technique.

I just moved on to Simply Shredded- all can be mostly done at home... you can Google each exercise to get a visual on proper form.

I used to be strictly cardio- and I have to say I am loving picking up the heavy stuff! Good luck!! Feel free to add me :)

I workout from home as well, I do dumbbell workouts and HIIT circuits. Today I did a killer total body superset dumbbell routine and ran the stairs in my 5 story apartment complex between each superset. Do you have a program you are doing or do you make up your own workouts?

I workout from home too and my first program that dealt with weight training was LesMills Pump. Great program and really got me into working out with weights. Since then I have also done Crossfit but just found it hard to get to the gym so my home gym is set up for Crossfit but I still mostly do my home dvd's. My current one is Body Beast. I love this program and it's easy to follow. I love the programs because it gives you a schedule to follow and takes the guessing out of what to do and when.

I also work out at home, treadmill, spin bike, free weights, punching bag, and a pole. I do a lot of different stuff so I don't get bored. I have a 3 month old and a one year old so I'm super busy, but when my friends reach out I'm there with ideas and support. I just finished a squat and dip workout with a baby strapped to my chest. I'd like to think I motivate people to ditch excuses!

I started on August 16th adding weight lifting at home in my already walking/running schedule. I do it 3 days a week, about 40-45 minutes a session.

My profile picture is the before and after of that endeavor. Keeps me motivated to keep going.

I did crossfit for a few months and then 5/3/1 at home before (in preparation for) getting pregnant. I lazily took about 6 months to go through one 5/3/1 cycle (they usually take a month) postpartum. Then I picked it up and did the next cycle in about a month (next week will be deloading week). So I think I've successfully gotten back to lifting, even if my 1RMs have suffered a little, haha.

In case anyone's interested, lifting as a way to get a body back after a pregnancy seems to be a success, I think. I'm almost back down to prepregnancy measurements.

ETA, I also lift at home:
