For me? Sometimes they do. They work sometimes to break a cycle of negative thinking.
Positive affirmations are also a way to shut out negative words/thoughts another person has stuck in my head.
Sometimes they do nothing for me...especially when I'm feeling very depressed.
On a side note I think it helps to "want" to feel better...0 -
They work for me
Today, as I was walking to work - I kept saying "Your attitude determines your altitude!"
Another favorite of mine is from everyone's favorite fish "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...."
Anything that keeps me positive is a good thing0 -
Thank you, both of you. I think I will start with "I am stronger and healthier every day".
How many times a day should we say this?0 -
I think the positive affirmation you've chosen is perfect.I'd say it as many times as it takes to make you feel better. Then again later anytime you need a boost
Keep doing what your doing! You'll thank yourself later for all the hard work!0
