I'll be glad to help however I can from here.
I'm still going pretty strong with my weight loss, down close to 30 lbs since November. In February I plan to start back with P90x, but until then I just watch what I eat with MFP. Feel free to check out my meal diary for ideas.
If a picky eater like me can stick to this program, anyone should be able to.

You need a new challenge. Do you run? Signing up for a 5k is a great way to find the incentive to get out and run more than you would otherwise. I did that last year and almost hyperventilated with fear after I sent in my check. The fear made me go out on days when I would have rather stayed in bed, just to try to stack the deck in my favor. Since I was focused on the 5k, the small moves I made everyday seemed to fly by and I lost inches and pounds as a by-product. I did do the 5k, and although I wasn't able to run the entire thing, I felt strong and proud of having accomplished it.
Find a challenge that scares you. Sign up for it. Then let the anticipation drive you forward.
Good luck!!0 -
Pick up a copy of Michael Polan's "Food Rules" book. It's about $10 here. Pick the rules you can actually deal with. Put them on individual pieces of paper and each day pull one out for the next day. You'll make some wonderful "baby step" changes to your lifestyle. I did this with another group of gals and we had the best time with it. And the "rules" are all very do-able; eat 5 servings of green veggies today; no fast food today, etc. I think we came up with well over 30 of them. And it's fun too!0

You could also find a sport that you enjoy doing, I do Karate so I am learning something i can use in life as well as getting some really good all around exercise in. Just don't lose faith in yourself, weight loss is, in my opinion, 75-80% mental, so try to pump yourself up.0

Depends what you're into. Are you doing weights? If so, changing up your routine can help. For me trying something new and mastering it keeps me going0

No recipes, but good advice on making smart food choices. For some, fast food is a way of life, so that's why that is one rule. I found it enlightening because there are so many little things that we can do that go far toward health (and health of the planet as well!). It's more of a Live-It book than a diet book.0 -
Okay yeah nahh that sounds good! I think maybe reading something like that will do some good :-) ill have a look for it. thanks :-)0

I recently took pictures of myself in a bikini and then found a picture of Olivia Wilde in her bikini.. haha I find that motivating! Not that I want to look exactly like her -- but it would be nice to lose these last five pounds to feel better.
I found that starting running was motivating as well. I couldn't run at all but started Couch to 5k. In nine weeks I was able to run 5k with no stopping. Just set a goal and stick to it.. maybe try 30 day shred if you haven't already, or sticking to going to the gym 4 times a week.. whatever helps you along the way!0 -
Thats the thing I go five-six times a week but I think im getting over it lol.
Yeahh im definately taking up running now haha I want to be able to do that !!!
and the bikini pics sound like a good idea actually!
thanks so much!0
