I'm Christina and I am from Georgia. I am almost 35 years old and I want to lose around 20 to 25 lbs. I have a hard time motivating myself to excercise. Seems like I have gained most of my weight in last 5 or 6 months. I hope by using myfitnesspal I can accomplish my goal.

  • Hello! I am also new! Hope we have nothing but awesome results with the help of my fitness pal!!
  • Thanks for the welcome girls! I just logged my breakfast and you don't realize how fast calories and carbs add up. I can see my biggest problem is gonna be to drop my cokes and drink water...Any suggestions? Oh, and any suggestions on what to get me motivated to excercise?? Thanks!
  • My motivation is that the scale drops pounds a lot faster with exercise. I lost and gained the same 3 pounds for three weeks in a row, and when I incorporated exercise, the scale has been consistently dropping.

Agree with M2P...you just have to get into the swing of things..start slow then work your way up. Alot of people think that if you go to the gym or even workout from home for 30-45min 3x a week that's all you gotta do..not entirely true. When you first start out you need to go at least 4-5 days a week for 30-60min then once you reach where you wanna be then 2-3 a week for 30-45min to maintain your current weight.

If I'm wrong someone please tell me but this is what I was told by my personal trainer.

    happy weight loss!!
