elliptical recommendations?

I am looking to buy an elliptical to use during the winter months. Does anyone have any recommendations or things I should look for or avoid?

    We had a clothes rack, ahem, elliptical... but ended up selling it. If you're dead set on getting one, we did like the one we had (Ironman Ascender).... also make sure to check craigslist... there are a ton available on there. You'll also get an idea of how to sell yours when the time inevitably comes :)

    Personally, I'd rather pay a gym membership to store my exercise equipment out of my house. It would take months of $15 a month 24 hour fitness membership to rival the cost of an elliptical.

    I'm strongly considering the Sole E35. Seems to be a great "bang for the buck".

    I have a Treadmill and it's awesome.

    It's all personal preference, but I simply refuse to go to any gym.
