I've been walk/jogging 3 miles every morning with my dogs now that I'm in an apartment and it's has been a huge motivated for me to get up earlier in the morning and get all m cardio out of the way...also keeps the pups happy and gets out all of their excess energy while I'm at work all day.
Looking to start adding weights I to my routine soon as well.

You'll find it hard to teach the pup to do weights :-p0 -

hahaha
Running with my girls proves to be more of a headache - at least for now, they are still learning - the little one has to stop and eat grass/leaves/branches etc. so she is more of a walker at the moment but the bigger one doesn't seem to mind so much - the two of them together... That sounds like a plan for face planting! LOL0 -
All the time. My dog loves a good run and she motives me to go.
I should add that I trained her to run off leash with me. Much easier than on leash. But she'll go on leash if I have to.0 -
I did, until I started running faster & longer, then she gave up
Now I walk her on my cool down lap0 -
I wish I had a dog to run with! I'd be so much less afraid of stuff while I was out!0

My dog runs part of the time, and walks part of the time. I usually only do part of my workout with her, then take her back home She may do 2 miles with me at most, but she just loves getting to go outside!0

My dogs wog with me! That's a walk/jog. Our big girl is trained to heel directly at my side. I'm working on training out puppy to heel and only potty when I let him. It's going well so far. They both can go so much faster than me if I let them. The funniest part is that when we get home, they have post-exercise hyperactivity for about a half hour. Then- suddenly- sleep.0
