I am trying to count last nights dinner. I had a cup of mashed potatoes with no salt or butter added. Only a bit of 2% MILK was added. There is nothing in the data base. I was going to use I large boiled potatoe and add a tad of milk but it is saying that it is 258 calories. Is that accurate?

a large potato might be too large. I would do one medium, boiled, and then add your milk separately.
  • Under Food, go to Recipes, and then Enter a New Recipe. That's what I do even when it's just something like that. You don't have to add it to the database. You can just use it for yourself.
  • Probably. mashed potatoes are pretty high in calories but SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!

Well I didnt make the mash potatoes so I couldnt do the recipe thing. I might just do the boiled medium potatoe :) Either way its ok bc I burned over 700 calories last night.

I just looked in the food database and found homemade mashed potatoes plain with skim milk! There were alot of entries under mashed potatoes. Hopefully you can find it now! That one was I think it said 107 calories. It's not 2% but close! =)
