Not Enough Calories- Paleo

Hello, so I have been on the Paleo diet for some time now and it has been wonderful! I love it so much. The problem is the other day I was recording my calories to see where I was at because I was scared I would be way over my calories and to my suprise I came pretty under my calorie goal. I am so full I can't eat any more though. I drink a bunch of water through out my day eat a big breakfast, never skip a meal but I am just super full. Is this bad? What should I do?

As long as you are getting your nutrients you should be fine. Make sure you are having a small snack every couple of hrs between your meals. Nutritous food just fills you up more than junk. Also drinking a ton of water helps you feel full as well, which could account for some of it.

I've personally been on paleo for almost 2 years. Being under calories is perfectly normal as long as it's not detrimental to your well being or your energy levels.

Personally, when I need a few extra calories in a hurry when I feel depleted, my go-to has always been a spoonful of organic peanut butter.

I'm also in the same boat! I eat so many veggies that I remain full but calories are way under many days. Weekends are the only days that I stay close to my cal goal and that's because I still have a cheat day... although I'd like to take that out of my routine. I eat a handful of almonds to up my calories. Maybe you could try a hard boiled egg as a snack as well.
