Rebooting weightloss

I've lost 40 lbs and have maintained all summer, I have recently gained about 5 lbs and I don't want to continue, I know what to do! I have to say it's easier to stick to a plan when you are desperate to lose weight.
Is anyone else in my same situation or have you rebooted your weight loss ? What did you do to motivate yourself ?

im in the exact opposite situation. i keep myself motivated by seeing how much weight i gain on a weekly basis.
but you gaining 5 lb, unless you know for certain that this 5 lb has been there for more than 2 weeks, is most likely water weight0 -
I have done the same thing, but gained 3 lbs. I kept a closer eye on what I was eating. Keeping to my excersise routine increased my cardio time and I have lost 2 lbs of the three. I was also off of MFP for about 6 weeks , so I am back to daily entries to get a grip I want to loose 10 more lbs than maintain . Feeling much better now0
