165.
That number seems unreachable..
but I will not let unreachable, become unachieved.
Unreachable, is reachable.
Unable to, is able to.
I know I can.. and so can you!
We can all do this!
If your journey takes you a month, a year, or 5 years, You did it.
YOU TRIED.
YOU WILL SUCCEED.
EACH DAY IS A SUCCESS.
Even a crummy one.. you know why? You recognize it was crummy, and you know how to change it.
Every step you take on this journey, is another step you didn't have to take, but you did.
you choose to take the step, and the one after that, and that.
YOU ROCK

That is right. You got this!0

I have a similar amount I'm looking to lose.
LET'S DO THIS.
:glasses:0 -
I've got about the same amount to lose, break it up into mini goals, it isn't so bad!0
-
My ultimate goal would from SW to GW is 120.0

My goal is to lose 140lbs. It does seem like a mountain to climb, but you can do it. One step after another. I just keep thinking, every day, every good decision I make, brings me that much closer.0

I started out with 180 to lose. But I STARTED. And haven't QUIT.
:-)
When people ask me, that's what I tell them my weight loss "secret" is. Not quitting.0 -

That's a great weight loss secret....0 -
I don't have as much to lose, but I find breaking it up into small chunks works. Set a 10 pound goal.. then when you hit that, set another one, etc. It makes it seem more manageable.0
-
I started at 289, I am down to 270, I would like to be at 145. That's a still a bit much for my height but that's my goal for now at least. Its a lot and its going to be hard but we can do this. My mini goal is 25 more pounds lost by Jan 1 that way I can go into the new year with "only" 100lbs to lose.0
-
I started at 315, now at 229. I have set a mini-goal to get under 200 by the end of this year. Next, I want to be 185 by the time of my Spartan Sprint in March. Running will get easier if I am a lower weight.
Even though that is technically still 35+ pounds over my "ideal weight" I want to stay there for awhile, learning to maintain. I have found that it aids in KEEPING the weight off. Also, I hope to add more muscle, so can't eat at a deficit.

Op: If the number is too daunting, make it smaller.
What about 15 little goals of 11lb? 11lb is not so big
You can do this0 -
It sounds like your head is in the right place, you've got this! I totally agree about the mini-goals. Suddenly you're halfway and you'll feel unstoppable0

You can do this! I started this process two years ago and I am so happy with the progress I have made. It starts with a decision to do something and making small changes that lead to big results! Good luck and feel free to add me as a friend!0

You can do it, break it up into smaller goals if you need to and don't give up. you got this, you have the right attitude0

i completely agree. it's the only thing that keeps me sane. small amounts!!0 -
My number is around that, little less, but I didn't set my tracker for it, as it would extremly discourage me.
The first tracker, I set on 20kg less, once reached, I set it to the loss to be in kg underland (uhu = under hundred)
Once reached, I probably set it on 10kg to lose and then another and another....0 -
great attitude!!! you can do it !!0
-
Great mind set! You go this!!!0
-
I've got about the same and I'm putting my goals in 10 pounds at a time. I seem to see the end of the tunnel that way and then I go on to the next 10 pounds. This is working for me right now and I'm trying to do this slowly so the weight will stay off. So there's a lot of us out here. Your not alone.0
-
I have/had around 30kg to lose which seems mental, so I've broken it down and in reality I just want to lose around 3.5kg a month until May which is definitely achievable!
I just take every day as it comes. I feel achieved hitting "Complete entry" each day, so then I do it the next and then the next!
Practice does not make perfect, but it does make permanent!0 -
Thank you everyone, who has commented and liked this post!
I was just writing what was on my mind, and throwing some more motivation out there!
I've been on this journey for years.
Starting and stopping, losing and gaining.
Starving myself as a young teen, then gaining 100 pounds when I stopped caring what people thought of me..
I have had my own long road, and have an even longer road ahead of me.
But I do believe that as long as we all support each other, it will get easier and we can all succeed.0 -
Thanks for the post. It is a great reminder that the only way we do not succeed is to quit.
You rock!0 -
I needed to see that! I've got about the same to lose0
