Newish to my plate and needing support

It all started when I muffin topped out of my favorite pair of pants... and ti wall went down hill after that...

Everyone says, "you shouldn't work-out/be fit to fit into a "magazine body image" or whatever, but what is so wrong about wanting to fit back into an old pair of pants and feel sexy again?

I am tired of feeling "chubby." My clothes being tight and pudging out of my underpants and pants and my bras making me look like a roast beef strung up...

I really don't know much about exercise/weight loss so advice/help would be great! My "goal" is to look 5lbs in a month (do able right?) I would like 15lbs over all, but I will be really happy with 5lbs by the end of October.

Help support in this would be great!

Welcome! It's difficult to give you specific advice from what you tell us, but you can just eat what you like on a reasonable deficit (500 calories is a good starting point - do as MFP tells you at setup), and you'll lose the excess weight.

Welcome! 5 pounds is a realistic goal! And if you want to lose weight for yourself than you are on the right track! I personally think the food you eat matters more than exercise. But you should be active, even if it is walking! Don't make huge changes quickly, it can overwhelm you and set you up to purge! I have a quote I like to use "Believe in yourself and you are halfway there" Once you believe you can do it, it can! Best of luck! Feel free to add me (even though I have a lot more to lose)

I have a 5 pound muffin top of my own that I am trying to lose in 1 month. I also am an animal lover and have 2 dogs in our family at the moment. One is 17 years old and still very active, watching her still out chasing a ball gives me encouragement at 53 years of age to get off the couch and be active. Would love to support you with losing our muffins in a month.
