Knee problems.

Hey everybody, I've had some problems with my knee lately. Whenever I would walk for 15 minutes or more, it would hurt pretty bad and I'd have to stop. That has since not been a problem, but I went for a run the other night, and now the pain is back full force. So if anyone could tell me:
1) What this pain might be (it was not caused by a fall or a twist or anything, it kind of just started after work one day)
2) Some exercises I can do in the interim between now and finding a knee specialist of some sort, I don't have any equipment at home, and I'm patiently waiting for my EA Sports Active 2 to arrive.
Any advice would be superb, thanks!

Make an appointment and go and see a good physiotherapist. It's faster than waiting to see a knee specialist and they will be able to have a look at what is going on with your knee and advise you whether you need medical intervention or just knee strengthening exercises etc.0
