Hi everyone! I am new to the forum. I just began the Brazil Butt Lift program today, after having a baby 5 months ago. Not only have I not lost any baby weight, but I seem to have been gaining more and more..... how depressing. Anyway.... as I was trying to track my exercise for the day, I was disappointed to discover that these workouts were not included in the database, and therefore I have no idea what I am burning it terms of calories. Does anyone have any experience with this program? or have information on calories burned per workout, etc? any help would be much appreciated! thanks

MFP uses estimates....
The only reliable numbers are heart rate monitor AND steady state cardio. Since Brazil Butt Lift is not steady state cardio....you're looking at an estimate.
Calorie burns are dependent upon MANY factors (some of which are): height, weight, age, gender, exertion level, and more.
Just select a basic category & plug in the number of minutes.
IE: cardio, circuit training (cardio + strength training) or strength training.0 -
Try not eating back any exercise calories if you're gaining right now. Then, as you see how much you're losing, add back some of your exercise calories. Whatever you're counting the workouts for is clearly more than the exercises burn.0

If Brazil Butt Lift is a squatting/lunging program, I don't usually add in any exercise calories for those anyway. I only add in calorie burns for cardio exercises like elliptical, stepping, that type of thing. Using a heart rate monitor with a chest strap is the best way to get the most accurate burn.0

For this type of exercise I tend to play it safe with the low or moderate arobic activities. At least that's what I use for Gillian Michaels work outs.
I also would suggest halving the time, since MFP includes your basal metabolic calories burned as well.0
