My Diary

I'm hoping to get some feedback on my food diary, i stopped logging for quite a while due to being dishonest with myself, i would log my day under my calorie goal and then binge at night. I decided to start fresh with a new outlook and have put in my first week of logging and know some improvements i could make but would like to see some other people's perspectives.
Some info about me to help: I'm female, 26yrs, 5'5", 243lbs. My Primary goal is to be healthy. I'm not trying for low carb, low fat, ect. Just a healthy balance i can maintain while lowering the amount of processed foods i'm eating.
Thanks.

As long as you're being honest with yourself logging, it looks like you're on the right track. You might consider cutting back on the espresso drinks and using those calories for food, but that's up to you.0

I would start with getting the correct nutritional count on the foods you are logging. Google the facts and you will be surprised at what your diary states. Also labels state the correct amount , yet sometimes we miss the fact about how many servings are in it. Keep your eyes peeled for the correct facts when logging.0

If it's honest, looks okay. In my opinion, maybe you should eat more veggies to fill you up. Put the tuna on a salad instead of bread? I just prefer that way so I can eat more but if you're happy, good for you!0

Get a food scale! A "medium banana" can vary greatly in size and calorie content.0

Thanks everyone, good food for thought. Alot of it confirmed what i was thinking as far as veggies and my coffee habits. I do own a scale but hadn't thought to use it to measure my fruits. I'll give that a shot too.
Really appreciate it.0 -
I agree with possibly cutting out the coffee drinks.. or have it black if you can tolerate it. Also, be careful with things like mayo and peanut butter. 1 tablespoon isn't much, if it's a heaping one Its probably 2 tablespoons. I have that problem with olive oil and salad dressings.. so I now measure them out.0
