How much is too much cabbage?

I bought a savoy cabbage last week, and it feels like it's never ending! I've been eating it raw, because I prefer the taste that way.
But despite eating over a cup per day, it seems like there's no end in sight! I've tried looking up how much cabbage would be too much, but all I get is the negative effects of over-consumption. Anyone got any ideas of when I will meet maximum cabbage capacity for the week?

Cabbage is a negative calorie food. Theoretically, it could kill you.0

As long as it is not bothering your digestion, I don't think there is too much cabbage. It's low calorie and a good source of fiber too.0

There is certainly a thing as too much cabbage. I don't know what that amount is for you, but you'll know it when you exceed it...

ha ha ha when people start to complain that you smell of cabbage fart lol
I know what you mean - we had cabbage last night, it looked tiny but i only cooked up half of it and we had a mountain each and still threw some out. it's just one of those foods that seems to reappear on your plate every mouthful you take. its numnums tho!0 -

That is probably the best answer. You have had enough when you are in pain from intestinal gas and you fart every time you take a step. If your co-workers cover their noses as you walk by, then you probably have eaten too much cabbage.
One head of Savoy cabbage is not too much cabbage.
Cabbage is a very healthy vegetable. The most densely nutrient-laden is red cabbage. We just had red cabbage with caraway for supper last night. Two of us ate 1/2 a head of cabbage. Sometime soon, we will have the other 1/2. Meanwhile, hubby also goes through a head of green cabbage every week by eating it raw at lunch and I often have a head of Napa or the like to incorporate in suppers. We almost always have two different heads of cabbage working in the fridge as today or many times three.
Just don't boil it. If you boil the daylights out of it as my mother did, it WILL stink.0 -
If you're enjoying it, don't worry about it. You may have some gas though.0

About 4 cups per week, if you are worried about goiterigens. (includes raw kale, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, ect.) Less if you already have thyroid issues.0

LOL! Just don't burn yourself out on it to the point you can't even look at it again. I've never bought savoy cabbage, but regular cabbage will keep *forever* in the crisper. Just trim wilt back to fresh. I've used cabbage that has been in the fridge for way over a month.0

I also grew up on a mostly vegetarian diet, so my stomach handles large volumes of crusiferous veggies really well, so I won't worry too much about intestinal issues since I'm not having as much spinach, kale or brocolli at the same time.0 -
you will know when you become best friends with the bathroom.
i eat a lot of cabbage. it is hard to eat too much raw or cooked cabbage. sauerkraut on the other hand... that limit i hit MUCH sooner... but i still eat it!! lol0
