New to the site, due to a friends success!! It took a while to get motivated, but the time has come! I work full-time, and have 3 kids, so right now I'm just dieting since I haven't quite found time to start a exercise ritual! I would like to lose 30lbs total, and have lost 7 so far! Any input on quick and "quiet" exercises would be helpful since they will be done before everyone wakes up!

  • One way is to take walks at work, if you look at the exercise section you will be amaze what you can do and see what you do as a mom that you burn calories. And good luck on the weight lose

I go for a 30 min walk most days. Getting out in the fresh air helps. When I am doing the housework I try and run up the stairs and stuff.
  • Hello back! I just joined as well. When I was in college I weiged over 200 lbs - around 220 I lost a good bit of it and got down to around 140 at one point 135! I gained a small portion back and need to get that off and continue toward my goals! My boyfriends sister has this Ap on her phone so I googled it and I love it so far. It makes the dieting and excercising a bit more exciting!! I agree with the walks during work. Before I go to bed a few nights a week, I'll do a few different excersises, crunches, squats, leg lifts or some kind of arm excercise. Best of luck!

hello ,you could try working out in the garage ,you can do normal sittups pushups and chinups or a stationary bike with an ipod ,maybe even involve your kids wake them up and have them work out with you start their day off healthy ,then they would be nice and tires by bedtime
  • Thanks for the advice.. The garage is an idea, but a little chilly at 5am. Maybe the cold is what I need. I walk quite a bit at work, but it's not quite the exercise I want! Thanks for the ideas..
