Figure Bikini Fitness advice wanted.

My Ulimate goal is to get in shape to attend my first 'Figure Bikini Fitness' Competition sometime in late 2012, but Def in the year 2013. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. Anyone in Canada able to give me some advice. On how to attend the competition IN CANADA - not the states.! I know I will need a personal trainer in a few months...thanks in advance...
