That is the wrong way. You can incorporate the foods you love and still be in a calorie deficit. I binge on pizza. The way to stop that is to drink water right before I eat. I get fuller quicker. If you look at some of your binges you might find it erases your whole week deficit.0

I don't binge. I just eat all the foods I enjoy in moderation. As long as your binge doesn't push you over your weekly calorie goal drastically it's fine0

yopeeps is right, I have nevver had the need to binge because if there is a food I really want to eat I just find a way to incorporate it into my dairy. You have to approach this as a life change and not a diet so you have to be able to enjoy yourself every once in awhile0

I don't binge on anything I try to eat all foods in moderation so that I don't deprive myself completely of what I love or find a lower calorie version of things I like so that I do not undo my hard work for a binge day or meal. I love Mexican food and I came across a Lean Cuisine meal that I love and its 260 cals so I can have that and satisfy my craving for Mexican food without going out to eat and spending more money, eating chips and queso that's high calorie and "guessing" at how many calories are in whatever I order. It's just not worth it to me at least at this point. I love sweets as well but if I indulge I fit it into my calorie goal for the day and/or just have a couple of bites or small serving.0

I try not to binge and I'm pretty good most of the time.
My fall down is shark week. In that week, I just go on with my bad self and indulge. Not as much as I possibly could, but certainly enough to take the edge off.
It's just M&Ms and some sort of super salty crisps.0 -
No, I don't binge out on certain foods. For the most part, I incorporate things into my diet...even if something isn't the most healthy thing in the world, I can generally fit it into an otherwise balanced and nutritious day.
I've been having a pretty rough go of things lately at work, etc and been under a lot of stress lately...so Sunday evening, my wife decided to make one of my favorite meals...she made some Schnitzel and potato dumplings with browned butter...it's really not that "healthy", but it's something I have pretty rarely and it most certainly didn't undo all of the other nutrition I took in that day which included about 6 servings of vegetables and a couple servings of fruit. I also went on a 30 mile ride so I was well within my calories for the day.0 -

LOL.
I have peanut butter a lot. And I don't consider anything "binging" unless I eat something like a pint of ice cream or like a cup of peanut butter at a time. Then I take a moment in the middle of the pint, take stock of whether I'd like to work off all that ice cream/peanut butter, usually realize I don't, then put it down.0 -

i love peanut butter so much too it's ridiculous. i have it every day. and i admit more than a few times i have had a tablespoon or two more than i should (and for the brand i like, at 110 cals per tbsp you can see how that can add up :O ). sometimes it'll make me go over on my cals and bring me into the maintenance or very slight (like 0.5/lb every 5 weeks) gain range.. but you know, i try not to let it bother me too much. YES, i have binged before while trying to lose weight. i am a comfort eater, that's how i got overweight and obese in the first place. i try my best to not make it a 1,000+ over maintenance binge, but i would still call it a binge. all i can say is, personally, i would let myself have the extra food -- but really try to keep it in check. plan for it as best as you can (i know binges sometimes come on spontaneously so i know this is hard) and, if you feel it is worth it, have that extra and eat maintenance cals (or even very slightly over that) for that day instead of being at a deficit. if it's just once a week, it will just barely detract from your overall loss. i guess it's not more of a binge but a more "relaxed" day. if you give yourself one of those days a week and let yourself be okay with it, maybe you'll want to eat less of it and not turn it into a binge.0

um, excuse me? this is a website for people looking to manage their weight and get in shape. this is a positive place. not the place to criticize or insult at anyone for their bodies. i'm sure a large percentage of the members of this site, myself included, have experienced enough of that in real life.0 -

Bianca Del Rio's the BEST! She deserved that win. My favorite quote from her is still when she said "You know that girl gremlin? Don't get water on that gremlin, it will multiply." Lol.0
